Due to its bright shell color, excellent taste, and suitable ounce count, it is particularly favored in Asian and European countries. This pistachio is mainly cultivated in Kerman province and is classified as an early-ripening variety.
Ahmad Aghaei pistachio has a thin, elongated shell with a light cream color and a striking red kernel. The red hue of its kernel sets it apart from other varieties. It has a mild and pleasant taste with a balanced oil content, making it an excellent choice for both raw consumption and processing.
The primary cultivation regions for this pistachio are Kerman province, particularly the cities of Rafsanjan, Sirjan, and Zarand. It is also grown to a lesser extent in Yazd, South Khorasan, and Fars provinces.
This variety is classified as early-ripening, with flowering beginning in April and harvesting typically occurring from late August to early September.
